also the dev kit had midi ports for development and creation for games and the Divers CX2000 had midi ports for this software and ?.

I didn't know the DIVERS series Dreamcast had midi ports built in. Very cool!

mine cost 15 in a chance ebay purchase, i also just acquired another aero dancing i special disk for 2.39 + 12.00 shipping from japan

it was with box and the plastic sleeves no scratches from use in the midi connectors.

The MIDI cable is only useful if you are into music production. It allows you to connect an external keyboard or drum machine to the Dreamcast to interact with the sequencer. The software it is compatible with is O-TO-I-RE Dreamcast Sequencer, which is not a game at all but music production software.
