Almost there, please help me.

Friends good morning, sorry for the mistakes of writing, is that I am not good in English (after all, I'm Brazilian).

I'm trying to connect the DC with the PC using PCI MODEM, Rockwell, Genius, and LG, using Windows 98 as dial-up server.

When click accept external connections, my modem starts to make noise, equal to dial, but the DC can not establish connection with my modem.

Please could someone help me here?

What Dreamcast disc do you use when connecting? What is the error message?

if you take the dreamcast modem off of the system / console, it will say the model number on the white label / sticker on it

also make sure the internal modem that you are using is a data/fax and VOICE supporting modem

Friends thank you for tips, but. . .

No more writing the white paper the model of the modem.

About the modem, but it is VOICE modem, so he gets to "dial" by listening to the sound of dial-in modem Genius. But the Dreamcast is not enough to make communication with the PC.

Does anyone have any idea to change the registry, or something?

I look forward, forward =)

My Friends........ Well ... tested with the 2 best modem ...

Rockwell and netodragon ...

The 2 so I checked the box "Allow External Access" the modem starts to make noise (such as disk) but .. is that ....

Remembering that I tried to dial both the DC first and then free access outside your PC, and also make external access, then dial the DC ..

but ... none works ....

But I do not give up yet .. other end succeeded! just see the video ..

Note: I am using Virtual PC 2007 and / or VMWare, and this running smoothly, just emulate the modem port on my virtual machine on Win98 SE

Good evening friends, I have a doubt, the circuit requires a cable-telephone 4 wire (red, green, black and yellow) or 2 wires (green and red)?

What is right?

Abraços
