Hahaha sorry this question really made me laugh. It would be interesting if you could play seaman with the keyboard. Or even use the fishing controller... as sign language? It is pretty easy to get Seaman with a mic, plus the mic can be found in other games like AFO.

If you think about it, Seaman would be terrified if you had a fishing controller plugged in. Grilled Seaman anyone? Laughing

Getting back on track, a microphone is pretty much required for Seaman, at least during the later stages of the game. If I remember correctly, Seaman asks you personal questions, such as your birthday, name, etc. that you must answer to progress.

it would've been a nice extra to the game, if you could plug the fishing rod in port 2, just to tease him with it Mr. Green Mr. Green

the game is entertaining, walked into my local video gamestore in Indianapolis earlier this year, and I was lucky enough to find a pristine copy of Seaman w/ mic. I bought it, and have attempted raising Seaman twice. I have enjoyed the experience. I recommend it, it asks you interesting questions, a thought provoking little creature. I wish Sega or anyone would make more games like it.

I would hate it if a seaman got cocky with me.
