i dunno if it had a name but it came with seaman and you used it to chat to him also sega brought out 4 mini games that were online and as the mic had no use up to this point they put mic support in these games i belive so you could talk to your opponant in the game but these games were only very simple does anyone know if the mic still works online? or if these games work? i dont know the name of this game disc but there was 4 on a cd

i think it was planet ring. a europe only game that was online for a brief time.
i never played it, but from the descriptions ive herd, it fits the bill.

oh, and just to clarify, its no longer online.

I know of at least one more game that used it. It was a mahjong game (japanese import). I saw it on ncsx.com, and it says you could talk to your opponents. Pretty cool, but assuming this was online, it's ovbivously gone now.

ya there were a few different Jap games that were online and used the mic, and 2 of them are up (maybe more, just remember two)

To the best of my knowledge, the headset mic was only included with the dreameye camera. AFO had the regular boom mic, same as seaman. There are several other things you can do with the mic online tho. I use mine for dreamcall over planetweb 2.6, voice ch@bing in DP3 and DPP, and if i can ever get i to work, i would use it for ch@bcall. Please note however, ch@b services are only available with an ISAO account, and creation of new accounts is not currently possible outside Japan. I lucked out and got an account from a friend that had a spare. He jumped on that bandwagon early enough to aquire them freely.
