I own the genesis version, and it is a game I have yet to boot up. TheMytho told me that there is heavy slowdown on topdown missions in the genesis version. Is this slowdown also present in the Sega CD version?

Thankfully, there are only two overhead stages in Demolition Man. The side-scrolling levels have a bit of slowdown as well, but nowhere near as pervasive as the two overhead stages.

I noticed that Go-Kyo owns Demolition Man for the Sega CD. Have you experienced any slowdown in the two overhead stages on the Sega CD version Go-Kyo?

Yes, There's slowdown on the overhead stages on the SCD version but it's not bad enough that it renders those stages unplayable it is noticeable though also on the side-scrolling segments of the game I experience no slow downs.

The framerate on the first top-down stage was a bit jerky, but not crippling. It just hitches a bit or isn't 100% fluid. It didn't bother me all that much.
