Hi everyone! Yep, I haven't been here in a whopping 3 years.

I wanted to discuss Sega Tetris. Firstly, does anyone know how to unlock new characters? There is little to no info on this game anywhere on the web. There is an old post on Gamefaqs that says you have to beat the CPU in battle mode, but what level exactly?

Second, how would this game work with the Dreamcast link cable? Even in single player mode, it only uses the left half of the screen, so I'm curious to know how that works.

In Link mode you see the opposing players running on an Island far off in the distance. So imagine 2 islands across from one another, with 2 players on each island, and as you look across to the other island you can see their gameplay taking place in reverse.

Hello, I have a dragoncast cable, I found the link menu thanks to this page from lordnikon :
http://dreamcast.onlineconsoles.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3113

But since the link is done, how to play then ? I tried many things, multiplayer or single player, it doesn't allow to play in vs mode ?

iluk, have you been able to get your Dragoncast cable working with any other games?

I have a Dragoncast cable also, and it does not work with any games I own. I still don't own an official sega link cable to test out any games.

Sure, my dragoncast works with F355 and VOOT. I didn't try Aero Dancing yet.
I guess it could work with Sega Tetris but I don't know what to do when linking is done.
By the way, I am trying to figure out how to make a link with 2 coder's cables.

Now I understand how it works : on the CABLE VS menu, there is two options :
If you choose the same option on both sides, the countdown stops. Because you need to choose a different option depending on your side !
When options are selected on each side, look at the top of the screen you see 1P, 3P... press start to join there (2P, 4P).
Now wait the end of the countdown and the challenge starts Razz
