This is Metal Slug for the Neo Geo CD, fixed so its playable on the Dreamcast!

The Metal Slug for Neo Geo CD was an arcade conversion, so its good. Only thing missing out of the original NGCD release is the music, which was removed so full speed emulation could be achieved.

***I DID NOT MAKE THE EMULATOR, OR COMBINE IT WITH THE GAME, I JUST FOUND THIS AND THOUGHT YOU ALL WOULD LIKE TO HAVE IT***

I have already gotten aproval from Lord Nikon to post this.

Its a Alcohol 120% Image.

Very cool! I'd love to be able to play Metal Slug on Dreamcast. I've always admired the NeoGeo, with its arcade direct games, but the prices have always been waaay out of my league. Unfortunately, I have just a 56K connection, so it would take me approximately a month of tying up my phoneline to download.

Any of you kind and speedy broadband users out there willing to lend a hand?

Please? Confused

only took me about 30 secs to download if that and even less to burn it, it should be quick even on dial up.

this game is superb tho, truly awesome, its such a lush platform shooting game which harkens back to risky woods days only much better. i wish it didnt keep crashing tho, it seems to crash if i try to go back or when i try to play it a second time. i will check it again, cos i have 160gigs of hard disk i decided to keep the cdi's for metal slug, prop arena and halflife on my pc so i can burn them if ever something goes wrong with my dc.

Okaaay, that took me only 51 minutes to download with my 56k connection. That wouldn't be too bad if I was immortal.

Crap! I had the Alcohol 120 Trial Version, and now it's expired on me. Does anyone know if I really need to download the full version now, or is there some way to still use the trial version? I never actually got to use it yet.

Is there any way to convert the files so they're usable with Disc Juggler? Thanks!

There is a way to "Unlock" the trial version, but thats illegal. Dont want to talk about that in here. You should be able to find an image converter around the net somewhere.

i think i figured out the crashing problem. i was trying to get it to pause or reset and couldnt figure out how but it turns out the left trigger brings up the pause menu. can anyone make a quick list of the metal slug games and maybe the platforms they are available on. i know for a fact that one of the newer metal slugs are on xbox with live gaming included!!! soooo cant wait for that.

right quick update. it looks like metal slug was only on neo geo pocket, probably wrong but it seems like it. and 3-5 are all available apparently on xbox so i shall be picking them up asap. sweet as!!
