That's teh sexy. It sold for a lot less than I thought it would too Exclamation Of course, I'm no expert, but I'd have thought those would sell for a few hundred pounds at least. And yes I've seen them before at game stores, but never for sale.

I've seen picures of a few of those, I believe at the DCH site, and they occasionally appear on eBay. I'm not sure if Sega treated the European model the same, but the US model was given a special model number making it highly collectable. If they gave the European kiosk model its own distinct model number, it probably would be really collectable too.

Here's a link to an article on the US version:

well ive done some scouting about, well asked the the two managers of game and gamestation (live nearby me) about the DC machines on display, and none was put into south yorkshire and south yorkshire is pretty big.

Anyways bottom line is, ive never seen one becuase there wasnt one availible and i never even knew the DC got released until a year later

These were everywhere in Bristol England before the DC was released. I specificly remember seeing them in local game shops and at the centre where I played 5-a-side football in the bar. Remember my m8ts playing ready to rumble and being quite impressed but saying they wouldent buy one as they were waiting for the PS2 Sad .

Yeah me too I saw them a lot in Portugal and my 1 game of sonic was in one of them , I was so proud of finishing the first level ,actually all the other kids watchign em play were amazed too cos it seemed so hard and hey I was 10 .
Yeah having one of those at home would need huge space so I actually can say I woudlnt consider buying 1 cos of the space , but it was still great to try out the games way back.
