I started this yesterday, basically I want to try and list all the games that Utopia will boot. Which means finding out:

Which US and PAL games will boot on a Japanese DC
Which PAL and JP games will boot on a US DC
Which JP and US games will boot up on a PAL DC.

This is what I've done so far

I cant do anymore at the moment as I cant test my 2 import games on my PAL one as I cant get it past the clock setting screen! (controller ports don't work)

If any of you can help at all, email which ones you've got working on which region of system to the address at the bottom of that page.

I thought the utopia disc booted all imports. What games does it not boot?

And me, I thought that Smile

Occasionally it can't boot games which have two disks or more (D2 comes to mind).

Apparently NTSC Dreamcasts struggle with PAL games, something about Utopia not being able to force the games to run at 60hz or something like that.

One game I definetly emember not booting was PAL Powerstone.

The answer is to get CDX !! Is that the same as Blaze Exploder ? I get every game booted with that.

Cdx is the way to go for pal and ntsc/j gd-r imports. In all reality, dcx has been a must for pso pal or weird stuff happens. Utopia has worked without issue(except for the save issue with tokyo extreme racer2 pal) for all my gd-r imports in the past and present.(dcx has not failed on an import yet and tokyo2 saves work now without swapping vmu's)
