Does anyone know what master server Quake 3 gets it's server list from?
Is it the same as the PC version, which is master.quake3arena.com? I ask this question out of curiosity, because the PC version of Quake 3 has a very touchy in game browser, and I'm curious to know if the Dreamcast version of Quake 3 gets servers from a different source then the PC version. |

As far as I know, the Dreamcast connects to the same server as the PC version. It parses through all of the available servers and only displays those that are Dreamcast compatible. | ||||

Hmmm, okay.
Right now, I'm trying to scan for some 1.16n servers with my pc, and I can't get a response from anything I use. I've tried the in-game browser, Pingtool and Gamespy 3D, and I haven't been able to get a list. It seems I'm not the only one having this problem either. I was just wondering if people on their Dreamcasts can get an accurate list of servers. |

If your using pingtool, try this address for the master server:
master://master.quake3arena.com:27950 Then just add extra server ip's into your favorites list |
