I got this game recently , it was on my to-get list for some time mainly coz I love shmups & this looked interesting.
so here's the deal: I started the game & noticed it reminded me a lot of Thunderforce 2 (but far more worked out). I played it for a while & suddenly an hour or 2 had past 
can't wait to play this gem in multiplayer now. anyone else love this game?? |

| It's a decent game. The only major faults I have against it where the upgrades cost to much, the graphics were ho-hum (thanks Windows CE), and no online play. A second Armada was supposed to come the DC, but eventually was scrapped. | ||||

its a surpising little game. i think i left off somewhere around level 20 and haven't played it in a while. but every now and then i get the urge to play it b/c it is a really relaxing game sometimes. i'll just avoid combat and fly around listening to the bg music and the occasional calls for help. its very zen like. | |||

btw, I just played it with the ascii mission stick for a few hours & I must say it works a lot better than with the dc pad imo | |||

I simply adore this game. You can find the main Armada post here:

The only complaint I have with the game is that there were not enough missions. I wish there were maybe double the amount of missions. It would be cool if there were different missions per class, but I don't think the game has it. There are extra incentives for completly leveling your ship. You can acquire Super Ultra Tech equipment, that is SUPER expensive, but will eventually afford you the ability to do infinite bombs

I have a blue ship with wings now (it changed 2 times so far), I'm also playing terran atm
ever played it in multiplayer? this should be online (sigh)  |
